For too long, neurodiversity in the workplace has been treated like a medical problem to be managed. At Quiet Tide, we believe that if a plant is wilting, you don't blame the plant you check the soil.
We lead with the Social Model. This means we don’t look for what’s "wrong" with your employees; we look for the design flaws in your office, your communication, and your culture. When we remove those barriers, we create a Systemic Calm that allows your entire team to thrive.
We didn’t start Quiet Tide because we saw a gap in the market. We started it because we saw a gap in the way we treat people.
As an AuDHD founder and a mother two neurodivergent adults, I’ve spent my life navigating environments that felt like they were turned up to ‘10’ when I needed a ‘2.’ I’ve seen brilliant minds, including my own, dimmed by sensory overload, vague expectations, and the exhausting effort of
‘masking’ just to fit in.
We are not here to give you a lecture on legal compliance (though we cover the Equality Act 2010 in depth). We are here to give you
the Curb Cut Methodology.
Just as sidewalk ramps were designed for wheelchairs but ended up helping parents with strollers and travellers with suitcases, neuro inclusive adjustments benefit everyone. We help you implement micro adjustments, like the Clarity Imperative that are low cost, but return far more in productivity, loyalty, and peace.
Why is our mascot a heron?
The Strategy of "Stillness" - The Heron is the ultimate observer. It doesn’t dash about like other birds, wasting energy; it stands perfectly still in the tide, watching for the right moment to move.
This mirrors our Systemic Audit. We aren't interested in "busy work" or loud, superficial changes. We observe the flow of your organisation to find the exact point where intervention will have the most impact.
Perspective and Height - its long neck and tall stature, the Heron has a literal "higher perspective" than other birds on the shoreline.
which is represented by the MSc level rigour we bring to our work and the ILM Level 7 lens I personally bring. We see above the "weeds" of daily office friction to the systemic patterns underneath.
Patient Authority
The Heron is a solitary, dignified hunter. It doesn't need a "flock" to validate its presence. This aligns with the Executive Coaching side of our business. It represents the quiet confidence of a leader who knows their environment so well they don't need to shout to be effective.
Navigating the Tide
The Heron is one of the few birds that remains perfectly composed even as the tide rises and falls around its legs.
This is the core of Quiet Tide. Systems change, markets shift, and "noise" increases, but our coaching and training helps leaders stay grounded and effective regardless of the external "tide."

Frequently Asked Questions
"Absolutely. This is a judgment-free zone. I’d rather you ask a 'clunky' question here than stay silent and let your talent leak away. We’re all learning, and I’m here to guide you through the language and the logic without the lecture."
"No. We focus on the Social Model, which means we look at the environment, not the individual's medical records. If a desk is too loud or a process is too vague, it’s a barrier for everyone. By 'fixing the room,' we support the undiagnosed, the diagnosed, and the neurotypical staff all at once."
"Actually, small teams are where we can make the biggest impact. In a small business, one person feeling 'broken' by a system is felt by everyone. Our 'Curb-Cut' methodology focuses on micro-adjustments that often cost £0 but return hours of productivity and peace."
"It’s not a scary inspection. It’s a quiet, methodical look at your 'Digital and Cultural Stairs.' We look at how you send emails, how you run meetings, and how your office is laid out. We then give you a 'Roadmap of Calm'—a list of specific, actionable changes to lower the friction."
"Because the modern workplace is designed for the loudest voices, but often your most innovative work is happening in the quiet corners. My own AuDHD journey taught me that when you lower the background 'noise'—both sensory and metaphorical—brilliance has the space to surface."
